Queen C,
(Selina Winsnes Rosenborg), born in Norway.
Queen C developed a strong passion for
reggae at an early age; she started writing
poetry in pre-school, and rap-lyrics at
the age of 14. After being introduced
to Dancehall music by her brother, Queen
C converted completely, Dancehall became
a part of her life. She has being pursuing
her singing career for many years and
has developed a unique style.
She has performed at Junior
Kelly's concert, and recently she performed
at a consert in Oslo with one of Jamaica´s
most respected deejay’s, and Dancehall
artist Beenie Man.
Although she writes her own lyrics her
influences include artists such as Cecile,
Tanya Stephens, Kelis and Timbuktu. Queen
C says her greatest inspiration is "life
itself, her friends, and the strong women
around her."
Queen C genre types are
Dancehall, Soca and conscious Reggae. Watch
